The Ethiopian Society of Chemical Engineers (ESChE) successfully organized a Capacity Building Workshop on Innovative and Sustainable Management of Industrial Parks in Ethiopia (ISMIP-Ethiopia) in collaboration with the Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) and the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK).
Held at Bole-Lemi Industrial Park from September 21–25, 2020, the workshop brought together experts, engineers, and policymakers to enhance knowledge and skills in sustainable industrial park management. Participants explored innovative strategies for improving environmental performance, resource efficiency, and circular economy practices within Ethiopia’s growing industrial landscape.
This collaborative initiative marked an important step toward building local capacity and fostering sustainable industrial growth in Ethiopia.
